Nickie is being a patient little pug in the waiting room at the veterinarian’s office today. She’s looking forward to seeing all her friends there, and she’s thinking thin thoughts in preparation for the dreaded weigh-in on the vet’s scale!
Rain, rain, go away!
Nickie the pug is getting stir crazy being cooped up inside with all the rain and thunderstorms today. She’s ready for some clear and sunny summer days!
Shake it off!
Nickie is about as much of a fan of Mondays as we are, but we caught her in action shaking off her major case of the Mondays and getting excited about a morning walk!
Too cold outside, staying cozy in bed today!
Though spring has officially started, we’re still facing an icy blast of wintery weather here. Nickie is dealing with the cold the best way she knows how! (Mostly snoozing cozily in her bed.) Stay warm out there pug friends!
Rainy Saturday Activities!
For Nickie the pug, there’s no better way to spend a cold and rainy Saturday morning than cuddled up in her warm little bed! We’ve decided to wait out the rain inside and enjoying a lazy Saturday. Coming up next is nap time!
Happy National Napping Day!
This year, Nickie is definitely joining in on the National Napping Day celebrations! The day after losing an hour of sleep for the return of Daylight Savings Time means that we’re all a little sleepier than usual. With this in mind, Nickie is taking advantage of some quiet time this afternoon to catch up on her beauty sleep!
Pug has broken down and cannot restart
Sometimes when we go out on a long walk, Nickie sometimes reaches a critical point where she refuses to walk any farther. This can also happen on a short walk if she finds a stopping spot that she particularly likes! Here she is showing off her stubborn side and ignoring our gentle encouragement to keep walking because we’re almost home. Looks like someone is going to have to be carried the rest of the way!
Playing with my party bus!
Nickie the pug has lots of toys, and her favorite time to play is right after breakfast in the morning. It’s so cute to watch her dig through her toy basket to find exactly the right toy to spend her morning with. It was a close race today, but the plush party bus won in the end!
It’s a sleepy sort of day…
You know the feeling. You’ve just woken up, but you already feel like you’ve been up for days! Nickie is definitely struggling to keep her little eyes open. Nap time might have to come early today!

We want to wish everyone and every pug a very happy Valentine’s Day! Nickie is dressed up in one of her favorite dresses, and she’s ready to dig into some sweet Valentine’s treats!
