“I just like to smile, smiling’s my favorite!” We love how happy-go-lucky pugs are, and they definitely make us happy too. Smiles are contagious, especially when they are pug smiles!
Nickie is getting excited to send out this month’s Pug Boxes! There are still a few days left to sign up if you and your pug want to join in on the fun!

Pugs always respond to the siren call of the treat bag crinkling! This is definitely the fastest way for us to get Nickie’s attention. If your pug wants to explore new treats and toys, check out Pug Box at www.pugboxes.com! You can get a themed box of great toys, treats, and pug themed items delivered right to your door each month!
They say an old dog can’t learn new tricks, but we’re still struggling with keeping our little Nickie up to speed on some of the old tricks she knows! Her “sit” is somewhere before sitting and laying, and if you wait too long to hand over her treat, she pulls out her second favorite trick which is “speak”. While Nickie may not be ready for a prime time doggie talent show, she is definitely the sweetest pug we know!
You know it’s going to be a fun-tactic Sunday when Nickie starts pulling all of her toys out of the basket first thing in the morning (after breakfast, of course). Here Nickie is getting started on her very busy day of playing with every toy she owns. If only her parents would get her a bigger bed so she could fit them all in and still have room for herself!
As soon as it hits about 3’oclock pm, Nickie the Pug starts asking us (with increasing enthusiasm as the minutes pass) if it might possibly be time for dinner. We’ve tried explaining to her that she should at least wait to eat dinner until about 4pm, but she can be pretty persuasive with those brown puppy dog eyes!
