Nickie loves getting her tummy scratched, especially in the mornings. Today she is combining it with her morning stretches! It was hard not to laugh as she balanced precariously atop a pile of toys in her bed awaiting her usual morning cuddle time after breakfast.
It’s hard to have a bad morning when you live with a pug. All you need to put you in a better mood is to see how unbelievably excited they get with a little belly rub, and suddenly even your grumpiest mornings can be transformed. Who could stay grumpy when surrounded by this much happiness?

Most dogs can’t resist a good belly rub, and our pug goes crazy when you rub her tummy. This is the characteristic position she assumes when requesting a belly rub. Note the half rolled body and bent raptor paw. With those puppy dog eyes, how could anyone turn down the invite?
