Pugs may have been given their charmingly apt name in the 1700s because they shared similar features with marmoset monkeys that were known then as “pugs” and commonly kept as pets. We can definitely see the resemblance.
Another One Bites the Dust
Breakfast Pirate
They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and when we saw this awesome t-shirt, we had to get it for her. It was a little tight in the shoulders, but overall, we were not disappointed by the result.
Dazzling in the Snow
It doesn’t really feel like winter to us without a nice layer of fluffy white snow on the ground. We were delighted to see the snowflakes fly, but I think Nickie is still not sure what to make of it all.
Bat Pug
Pugs In Hats
Hats definitely are not for everyone, but Nickie is really making it work in each of these hats (although we’re pretty sure she would rather be chewing on the headgear than wearing it). It all ended with a little hat nap.
Dedicated Listener
One of the things we love about having a pug is that we always have a good listener available (except when she is sleeping…). Most times when we tell her a lame story, she just sits quietly and occasionally gives us the characteristic pug head tilt.
